Kenji is a small Chihuahua mix who was adopted from PAWS 2 years ago and returned because she no longer had time to care for him. He is a sweet boy but, typical of a chihuahua, is a little slow to warm up to you some days. But once he does, he is a happy boy who loves to run around the room very fast to show you how “athletic” he is. He was quite pitiful when he was returned as he had developed some skin allergies and, without treatment, they had caused him to lose all of his hair and his skin was very red and itchy. But once we got him on his Apoquel and started his schedule of medicated baths, he bounced back and is once again the handsome boy that left here two years ago. He would be best placed in a home with no small children as he is frightened of them. He was born approximately 08/11/2012 and is reported to be house trained. He weighs about 11 lbs.
